Quilt Update

Last time I talked about my brother’s wedding quilt, it was in this state:

But I forgot to update you! Since then, my mom finished her tree applique (don’t you love the multicolored leaves?)…

…and her dresden plate applique (love the gingham center contrasting with the floral petals)…

…and added a border (that’s a green batik)!

Now, it’s off at the free arm quilter. We miss the cheery, bright colors. I can’t wait to see how it looks quilted!
